Forest first announced plans to renovate the Peter Taylor Stand in 2019, with the goal of taking City Ground's overall capacity from 30,445 to 38,000. Now, the Tricky Trees have stated there is a 'prospect' the club could start work on the stand during the 2025-26 campaign and increase its capacity by 10,000.

WHAT NOTTINGHAM FOREST SAID
The club said, via : "It remains the club’s ambition to redevelop the Peter Taylor Stand and there is a material prospect that we could start that work during the 2025-26 season. If that is the case, we will consult with season card holders who have seats in the Peter Taylor Stand regarding their relocation, if and when appropriate."

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Reds owner Evangelos Marinakis said last year that the club was hoping to turn the City Ground into a 50,000-seater one day. And with Forest currently third in the Premier League, they are well on track to qualify for next term's Champions League in what is shaping up to be one of the stories of the season.
