Saka, who was substituted in the 78th minute during Arsenal's recent match against Manchester City, subsequently missed the game against Luton Town on Wednesday. However, the forward has since been training and Arteta remains confident that he would be available for selection in the crucial continental match next week against the Bavarians.

Before facing Brighton on Saturday, Arteta stated: "I am super positive. I think he is going to fly and be so decisive. Yeah. I think [my confidence is] because he is so strong, how much he wants it when you talk to him and how excited he is about what is coming. He wants to be there and he is getting better and better".

However, Saka remains a doubt for Arsenal's next Premier League fixture against the Seagulls. When asked about the forward's availability for the weekend, Arteta said: "We will know now, with our training session in a few hours. We will know whether he is fit or not."
